52 weeks of slow magic
52 Ways to fall in love with the world
A year-long offering of slow magic, ritual, and re-enchantment
There are fifty-two cards in a deck. Fifty-two weeks in a year. Fifty-two invitations to notice the way the world leans toward wonder, to move with the turning of the seasons, to remember the old cycles of return and renewal, to come back into right relation with yourself, with the earth’s seasons, with time itself.
The Deck of Days: 52 Ways to Fall in Love with the World is a year-long immersion into slow magic—an invitation to remember the spell of being alive and to practice the art of presence and attention, week by week, season by season.
This is not about productivity or adding more things to do. This is not about fixing or optimizing yourself. This is not about having the answers. This is about astonishment. About cultivating intimacy with the seasons, the body, the kitchen, the page, the night sky. About honoring how love and ritual can change what feels unchangeable.
about the course
Each week for one year, you’ll receive a written offering: part love letter, part almanac, part field guide. Inside you’ll find seasonal rituals that root you in the turning of the year, recipes that nourish both body and spirit, spells for re-enchantment, small observances to anchor your days. They are reminders, companions, provocations. They are ways of pausing, of listening, of reclaiming attention as the power that it is.
You’ll also receive a weekly creative prompt to make your own slow magic creative oracle cards, so that across the year you create a full 52-card deck—an embodied archive of your time, for divination, inspiration, and ritual work.
And because magic is multiplied in company, we will gather.
A Private Mighty Networks Community—a space apart from algorithms and endless scrolling, where we share writing, reflections, rituals, and the details of our days with care and intention.
Monthly New Moon Gatherings - once a month, under the new moon, we’ll gather on Zoom. We’ll write together. We’ll create practices of quiet and connection, honoring the seasons and cycles of the natural world, rituals of re-seeing. We’ll bring our separate lives into a shared field, remembering that magic multiplies when witnessed.
These pages and gatherings are an invitation to live by cycles instead of deadlines, to return to right relation with yourself, the earth, and the time we are living within. By year’s end, you’ll have not only a 52-card deck made by your own hands, but also a practice of noticing, tending, and creating that carries forward—an embodied reminder that enchantment is not elsewhere, but here, in the dailiness of your life, and in the company of others who move slowly with you.

what’s included
52 Weekly Written Offerings — part love letter, part almanac, part field guide, arriving each week of the year.
52 Creative Prompts — guiding you to create your own oracle deck across the year, one card at a time.
12 New Moon Gatherings — monthly live Zoom sessions for writing together, ritual, and collective presence.
Private Mighty Networks Community — a slow, nourishing alternative to social media; a place to connect, share writing, and savor ritual.
Seasonal Recipes, Spells, and Practices — offerings that live in your hands and kitchen, not only in your head.
Community of Witnessing — across distance, we gather in the luminous field of shared attention.
We live in a world that moves at the pace of algorithms, where our attention is pulled and sold, where we are told endlessly what to think, what to feel, who to be. The noise is constant, the hunger for “more” insatiable. This offering is for those who are weary of being hurried, measured, and manipulated, for those who long to step out of the scroll and into their own pulse. It is for the ones who want to turn toward creating the world rather than hating the world. Here, we practice re-enchantment as resistance, slowness as survival, and presence as a way of beginning again. Because our attention is our power, and the world is always asking us to spend it faster, thinner, more distracted.
Slow magic is choosing astonishment over answers.
It is learning that re-enchantment is resistance.
It is remembering that presence is a spell.
-
Not at all. You don’t need experience with writing, art, or ritual. This offering is for anyone drawn to astonishment, slowness, and re-enchantment. The letters, prompts, and practices are invitations, not assignments—you make them your own.
-
That’s part of slow magic—nothing is lost. The written offerings arrive each week and are yours to keep. You can return to them whenever you need. New Moon gatherings will be recorded and shared if you cannot attend live.
-
You’ll need something to create your 52 cards with: blank cards, watercolor paper, index cards, or anything you love to work on. I use a deck of playing cards as my base, and collage on top of them directly. You can use pens, paints, collage, or any medium that calls to you. It doesn’t have to be “art”—just your hands, your attention, your time.
-
It depends on you. The weekly offering may take only ten minutes to read, or you may choose to linger with it for an hour, weaving ritual, writing, or art. Slow magic is not about more to do; it’s about how we do what we do.
-
Beautiful. Come as you are. Everything is shared in a way that’s accessible, simple, and flexible. You are invited to adapt or ignore anything that doesn’t fit for you.
-
Nothing—except the choice that feels most true and possible for you. Every participant receives the same offerings. All are welcome.
-
That’s okay. You can move through this offering quietly, privately, without ever posting or joining a live call. Everything is optional, everything is invitation.

ABOUT ME:
I am a writer, a maker, a full spectrum doula, a ritualist, and student to the natural world.
I am here for the human and more than human. For returning to slowness and living at the pace of breath and ground, and aliveness. For the stories we are socially and culturally told we are not allowed to speak or know or claim as our own belonging, and the transgressive act of centering such narratives in both discourse and art.
l write the corporeal, the wonder and mess of the human experience being embodied. I write about medical anthropology and the wandering womb, living with chronic illness and disability, casting spells and breaking spells, the mytholgoies we live and the ones we untanble, legion hearts and the mystery none of us can ever really know so we just keep threading words together into ink and paper arrows, hoping they will somehow light up like neon, illuminating the broken and beautiful. I write secular prayers and about what the living do, and sometimes I write about violence and sometimes I write about lilacs.
My writing over the years has been published in a variety of publications in print and online including a collection of poetry "Salt + Honey: secular prayers to the human and hedonistic hearts", Ars Medica, Bellevue literary Review, Calyx, Crab Fat Magazine, Tattooed Buddha, Brain Child Magazine, Body and Soul: Narratives in Healing.
